With six stunning trim levels to choose from, customizing your Super Duty is simple. The standard XL trim level comes with impressive features such as 17-inch steel wheels and a locking tailgate. Upgrade to the XLT to get 18-inch cast alloy wheels and four locking cleats in the BoxLink bed.
More serious upgrades begin with the Lariat, which features expanded exterior chrome, 18-inch machined alloy wheels, and remote tailgate release. This trim also boasts LED box lighting and LED fog lights and headlights. At the King Ranch level, the Super Duty is outfitted with power deployable running boards, 20-inch bright machined alloy wheels, and a unique accent color on the lower trim and bumpers. The Platinum offers a satin aluminum exterior accent design and chrome tow hooks, while the Limited features a dual-pane power moonroof.
Engine
The new Super Duty has four engine options, and they each come packed with plenty of power. A 6.8-liter V-8 begins the selection with an astounding 405 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. If that's not enough, you can upgrade to a 7.3-liter V-8 with 430 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque. The remaining two engines are diesel-powered, with the first being a turbocharged 6.7-liter V-8 that produces 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. The ultimate choice is a high-output version of the diesel engine with 500 horsepower and 1,200 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
With so much power under the hood, it should be no surprise that the Super Duty has some of the most impressive towing capabilities on the market. The F-450 Super Duty, specifically, when properly equipped with the high-output engine and gooseneck adapter, offers the best towing capacity in its class with a maximum of 40,000 pounds. Even the minimum capacity, however, still offers 21,000 pounds. The payload capacity is just as impressive with a maximum limit of 8,000 pounds.
Interior
The 2023 Ford Super Duty's interior is packed full of advanced technology you won't want to miss. This includes a standard 8-inch infotainment touchscreen interface, which you can upgrade to a 12-inch display. Plus, all models come standard with a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Safety Features
You can drive with peace of mind thanks to the 2023 Ford Super Duty's array of safety features. These include automated emergency braking standard on all models.
