We believe that there is nothing more enriching than supporting the various organizations in our community. That is why the team at your local car dealership in Meadville PA is glad to announce that we are partnering with the United Way of Western Crawford County (UWWCC) for the month of September. This outstanding organization uses local programming that “unites both individuals and organizations creating positive change for Western Crawford County residents.” The UWWCC does this by investing in Impact programming that focuses on academic success outside of school, preparing youth for a transition to the workforce, and connecting families to the resources they need to support their children. It also invests in Safety Net programming that revolves around providing emergency services and basic human needs (food, clothing, shelter, etc.). Besides that, the UWWCC runs a local Community Improvement Center that assists residents of low income and special needs with critical home repairs to make their homes safe, healthy, and accessible, along with handling the monthly Dolly Parton Imagination Library program for children ages 0 to 5 to improve early childhood literacy and kindergarten readiness.

Naturally, the team at McCandless Ford Meadville wants to do whatever we can for this wonderful organization, which is why we donated $50 to UWWCC for every Ford car, truck, SUV, or used vehicle we sold in September, bringing the total to $4,400 between McCandless Ford Meadville and Bill McCandless Ford! We think that the UWWCC is doing an amazing job for our local community and encourage our customers to help promote the philanthropic efforts.
